A fun-filled, action packed, technique-building workshop that will get your creative juices flowing. Whether you are a veteran teller that wishes to explore a more physical, dramatic approach to a story or a novice teller or a teacher who wants to enter the world of storytelling and it’s use in the classroom this workshop is for YOU! The workshop explores the use of drama, rhythm, creative group play, imagination theater games and more. This workshop will give you plenty of hints, tips and techniques to move from “page to stage.”

Join Anne Penfound, President of the Portland Storytellers’ Guild, for the fifth annual Hearing Voices Story Swap.

Come one, come all and take the stage to present up to a 5 minute story.

The story swap is designed as a welcoming opportunity for those new to the craft, as well as a great place for seasoned tellers looking to test a new tale. Life, legends, history, and folk tales will come alive.

Arrive early to sign up for one of the storytelling spaces. Designed for ages 10 - adult.
