Join in the Multicultural Celebration of Children's Day/Book Day
Commonly known as Día, Children's Day/Book Day (El Día de los Niños/El Día de los Libros), is an annual festive celebration for children, families, and reading held each April.
Día is a rich tradition based on childhood and literacy. Every year, WCCLS libraries offer Día programming to celebrate children and connect them to the world of learning through books, stories, music, and libraries. Washington County librarians craft unique local programs that nurture cognitive development in ways that honor and embrace a child’s home language and culture.
