2025 WCCLS Teen Art Contest: Level Up at Your Library

Calling all Washington County teen artists (ages 12-18): Enter for a chance to have your original artwork featured across the county during the 2025 Summer Reading program!

First prize: $200 Amazon gift card!

When does it happen?

Monday, January 6, 2025 - Monday, February 10, 2025.

Submissions accepted at wccls.org and at your WCCLS library.

Winning artwork will be featured on the WCCLS website and WCCLS member libraries will have the option of using the artwork to promote Summer Reading.

How to Enter the Contest

Option 1: Submit online

Click the Submission form button below (available on Feb. 26) and follow all directions. Include a written description (1 to 3 sentences) of the artwork. Click “Save and continue.”

Submit a digital file of your artwork via the link in the submission confirmation page by 5 pm on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Option 2: Submit at the library

Bring a hard copy to one of the WCCLS member libraries by 5 pm on February 10, 2025. Include your name and contact info on the back or attach it to the artwork. Please note: there is no guarantee we will be able to return original entries. Please save a copy for yourself if you want to keep your artwork or submit it online.

What we're looking for

  • Represents the Teen Summer Reading theme “Level Up at Your Library”
  • DO NOT include theme text "Level Up at Your Library” as part of your artwork
  • Designs must be the original work of the entrant.
  • Designs should be in color and should also look good in black and white
  • Should not include any copied or copyrighted materials.
  • Limit two (2) entries per contestant.

Awards

First Prize: $200 Amazon gift card

Second Prize: $100 Amazon gift card

Third Prize: $50 Amazon gift card
