The library was established in 1912 and moved to its current location in 2019. Cornelius houses many bilingual/Spanish language items in its collection to serve its diverse community.
Each of the 16 WCCLS libraries are individually governed – by either a city, Washington County, or a nonprofit board. Cornelius is a city library.
Four study rooms are available for groups of four or fewer. The rooms may be reserved online and used without a fee. When rooms are not reserved, use is on a first -come, first-served basis.
One large (or divided into two smaller) meeting room and one conference room is available by reservation
